Just a quick headsup for those interested.

New series apparently starting on Watch, Sky 109. Looks fairly good, covers the NSW police in Australia and seems fairly comprehensive, covering the college and some out and about stuff as well. Kindof starts with probationers and then moves back to the college and looks like it'll follow the training of the next group the whole way along.

For those of you with Sky+ the first episode is available on Sky Anytime (Sky Guide->Red Button) until Saturday. Not sure what day it's airing or what time but should become apparent.

It's on you tube, there's a link in the police uniform thread, It's a good show, 12 episodes following a class of recruits in the NSW Police college, and following probationers in their first months on the job, some of the class in the college are a bit cringe worthy, but it's a good show on the whole. I've watched the whole lot, good to see how other police forces train.

Cringeworthy is not the word for some of them. Watched the first episode so far and it merits further attention though!

Great show I watched all the episodes of 'Recruits' and it is a very good program,great insight into there training.They use alot of practical scenairo based training,which is now going to be used alot more in the training of AGS.

The whole series is on youtube. I think they are good so far and I have watched two episodes.

Spotted it by accident last week. Seems quite realistic and stays away from the tabloid sensationalism that sky are used to.
