FM104 - Jude on the Adrian Kennedy Phone Show

Hey people,

For everyone that listens to the Adrian Kennedy Phone Show on FM104, does anyone know a person called Jude that calls in most nights?

Jude...ring a bell? I thought so.

For me, I really dislike this chap, all he does is complain 24/7, he is stubborn, arrogant, he thinks he is right all the time and he always, and always says "I don't see why I should do this, I do this, I do that, blah blah" etc.. All he does is think about himself and nobody else. I had to turn off the radio a good few times because he just does my head in someti....sorry, most times!

Is there anyone else here that really can't stand this guy? And if there is anyone here that can't stand him, tell me why and name a time he really annoyed you. Haha.

That's actually pretty funny! He is such a twat though, all self-concerned, no sympathy for anybody. At least I'm not the only one who thinks that, not by a long shot! Cheers for that!

I haven't listened to that show in ages. Jude always wrecked my head. I reckon it's actually an FM104 employee o the phone just to stir things up.

I wouldn't put it by them.... When I did work experience in FM104, I was in the studio where they make the ads and ****, Adrian came in and asked me to call in to the 24 hour line and leave a message posing as a polish guy about pubs being closed on Good Friday affecting those who aren't Christian... Just to stir things up like. Just as I was going to say ok, a lad who worked there said he'd do it. So he recorded the message and it was played later on the show.

Just found out that Jude is from the Netherlands. I thought he was Irish. It kind of changes my opinion of him for some reason

Of course he's a plant! No such thing as bad advertising and all that, plus judging by the success of the Late Late Show thread, lots of people tune into things just so they can bitch about a presenter or a contributor to their friends. FM104 have you all stitched up!

he does make good points sometimes. in fairness though, why should he care about people he doesn't know? sure, he should at least have sympathy for peoples situations but he shouldn't be expected to or have to care about those who he doesn't know unless he is in a job which would require such a thing.

I answered the phones for Adrian for years....Jude isn't a plant. He calls in on every single topic with a strong view which will normally piss off the majority of people listening. It's what most talk shows would want but because he's been calling up for such a long time I think people are just bored of him.....I know when I was there we tried to call him back as little as we could....he was actually a nice and polite guy to deal with on the phone as it happens. I think he was German from what I recall

Im actually starting to like Jude, he can be a bit of an arse, but he is usually right in what he is saying.

Also, I wonder if he is now considered a 'public figure', or a famous Irish person

Male late 30's early 40's. Married guy, seems quite happy, he is in a wheelchair also that's about as much as I know. Hungarian family background hence his name.

agreed jude is a twat, joan is now a regular on the niall boylan show on 4 fm and zultan is also a regular on that show but he is now mysteriously called john. i switched to the 4fm show as i found the fm104 show a bit repeditive and that producer jeremy is another twat. the producer on niall boylans show is a bit lame aswell but the lesser of two evils i suppose. i also find niall boylans show a bit more free speech minded.

be interesting to see adrian and niall doing a show together without their silly sidekicks

Niall Boylan's producer is Mike Hogan who used to present 'The Inbox' with Joan Lea at one stage I believe...

Just after they had rebranded back to 98fm I think

yes he also presented the open mic on sunday nights on fm104 think it was actually named after him so to speak. hes not the worst but a bit lame a lot of the time. open mic was a terrible show mind you he wasnt very good at interacting with people

He did a show on Sunday evenings with a girl called Orlaith on 98fm which was from 10-12 midnight I think, then it moved to 7-9pm....

The Sunday Session? - I think thats what it was called, and it was pretty good...

Niall Boylan and him try to have a bit of banter and attempt to copy the FM104 Phoneshow style...

yes ive noticed theyre trying to introduce a bit of banter at the end.

considering im a night owl and work some nights would love a similar type show a bit later through the night, opening there for someone to entertain us nightowls
