I know he is not everyone's cup of tea and definitely not mine but just had to say his ride on Coordinated Cut was brilliant after getting hampered and virtually stopped his stride but he pulled him to the outside and regalvinised the horse to peg back what looked an easy winner for Godolphin.

Coordinated Cut looks a promising sort too and will definitely be in the shake up for the derby now and i think his chances have improved 10 fold considering he's left the over-rated Chapple Hyam yard for the very under-rated Bell yard. I know it's early in the year and plenty of races to go but if not the Derby then he's definitely a Leger winner in waiting

Glad to see a bit of praise for Jamie.
He certainly gets enough stick through the year.

No, have to confess that I didn't see it.
Am sorry I missed it now.
Was totally focused on Grand National meeting on Saturday, although I am more of a flat person.

Piggot dropped out Sir Ivor even more, although many people think that he caused Nijinsky to lose the Arc.
It took Sir Ivor a long time to recover after his Epsom Derby exertions and I am convinced that that was because Piggot gave him so much to do.
I would say that the horse felt badly battered and bruised for a long time after that race, and he certainly left the Irish Derby behind him at Epsom.
Whatever about Jamie Spencer, I never thought that Lester was all that he was cracked up to be.
