As an ancient country boy i thought one of the key areas for Macra was agriculture plus, of course, all the other items mentioned.

Hey all, Leeside Macra is getting back p and running after the Christmas Break. January is going to beu a busy month for our drama enhusiasts who are bsy rehearsing for the one act drama festival in February. If we get as many laughs on stage as we did when practicing it the other night we'll have them rolling in the aisles!

Leeside Macra is a social group for people between 17 and 35 based in and around Cork City. We meet on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at 8.45pm upstairs in Le Chateau. Curious? then why not come along and see what it's all about, or check us out on facebook. You can also email leesidemacra@gmail.com for more specific details!

Why have you set on age limit for the group? Would make more sense to have it open to everyone...do you drink at your events? Is it only people with farming backgrounds...............:(

Macra is open to all, unfortunately the competitions are only open to under 35 yr olds but don't let that put you off coming along for a bit of craic and socialising! it's def not just for people from farming backgrounds- people from all walks of life are involved! Hope to see you on tuesday!
