Laptop charger not working..

Hi, my girlfriend has an advent k100 and the box(presuming its a transformer of some sort) stopped working about 2 months ago, so she replaced it and now its acting up again...im thinking it must be something else causing this? the battery loses charge so fast it might as well not be there so its plugged in whenever she…

Sounds like it's a battery issue, if anybody you know has the same laptop try your charger on theirs, that'll tell you if it's the charger or the battery - I'd say it's the battery though.
