Hi I hope to get clarification on a court case I attended yesterday, Basically I had a judgement registered against me for an outstanding bill that i had with a supplier, with the downturn in the economy my buisness was struggling.
The court case I attended yesterday was for me to provide a statement of means as the supplier was looking for an installment order.
I did up my income and expenditure etc. and sent it to the district court and attended for the court case, however as it happened no representitive of the other party or their solicitor attended, so the judge thanked me for attending and said strike it out.
Does this mean I wont hear from the other parties solicitor again?

The creditor can serve a new application. However it is a good time to contact creditor and try to do a deal.

We don't do legal advice here and I am rather unimpressed by the last posters remarks given the forum charter which as a lawyer same said is on notice of. Being a reasonable moderator I am willing to let this stand but I am saying that this is not a forum for legal advice.

Mod's post does not relate to Nuac's post

It is in relation to something I posted which I felt didnt breach the charter however I've removed it in any event

This is wiki answers meaning of struck out case....

Means that the case against you has been dismissed by the Court--In other words..the Court feels that there is no case to answer,or the court after hearing the prosecution case feels that there is not sufficient evidence to try the accused, and the court finds that it's in the best interest "the case be struck out"!

It is a pitty you said anything if it didnt warrant removal as the poster has since removed the post.
