    hi all,
i've got O2 Broadband recently (the student offer). my brother had a modem (HUAWEI E220, the old dongle) already, but since he was cancelling his broadband, i was going to take his. when i went into the O2 store, i had to buy a new modem (HUAWEI E1752, the new one).

i currently have to use his dongle at home in sligo, since mine has a crap signal at home. in galway city, i'm going to be using the new one (since it's supposed to be faster), but the software doesn't allow for two modems at the same time on the same laptop. (to get around this, i use a virtual pc for the new modem with the new software)

i'm sick of having to load the virtual pc in galway, so is there a way that i can set up a 2nd O2 profile on the laptop so that i only have to use the dropdown menu in the software to change modems, or will i have to keep using the virtual pc?

thanks (sorry for the long explaining post ;))

i guess what i am asking is, how do i set up a 2nd profile on the O2 Broadband so i can use two modems (but the same sim card) on the same laptop?

    thanks
