I saw an ad in the sunday world and was curious to know what it was about. They left an e-mail address to contact them. I set up a false account and got the below reply. What do people make of that? Sounds too good to be true for me.

All we need you to do is to help receive payments from Client, This payments comes in form of (Certified Bank Checks,Money Orders). Once you receive the Check or Money Order you are to deposit them at your Bank. After you have Cashed the check or money order you are to Deduct €450 as your commission on payment processed and forward balance after deduction of €450. You are required to forward payment either by Money Gram or Western Union Money Transfer. Do note that you will be instructed on how to forward the payments. Below are some information about the opportunity.

Even if the cheques didn't bounce, this would represent a money laundering scheme and would be very illegal, I'm sure.

Do the Sunday World not screen this kind of crap before printing? A joke that they would allow this type of advertising and expect you top pay for the paper.

The sunday world don't care........take the moolah and run, but you can be sure they did'nt print the ad till it was paid for up front.

If it was legit he wouldn't want the money going into anyone else's account.

Not much critical thinking involved in that one.

2. Include your details on the back of the envelope
3. Post that envelope to Jebus c/o the pentagon Dublin 11

This is the next e-mail I got from him. He wouldn't be a native english speaker anyways. Lot of contradictions betwen the two e-mails. In the first he's setting up 3 offices in US cities but can't as the company is too small, in the second e-mail the company is based in the US. This lad is not even good at scamming and I guarantee he'll get people that'll fall for it
