If it's proper "Accidental Damage" cover, it should cover almost anything in your house that's broken or damaged in an accident of any sort. The policy might state things that may not be covered, but in general, they're usually straightforward enough.

Ask for a Specimen Policy, you are entitled to one on request. Nearly every house policy is in plain English these days and they divide the pages into headings of 'What is covered' and 'What is not covered'

Get one, have a read and if something in particular is not clear, come back here and we'll give it a go

If possible always purchase your cover to include "Accidental Damage". It will ultimately give you more leverage in the event of a claim.

You don't need leverage in the event of any claim, an incident is either covered or it is not. Accidental Damage just covers more events. The OP just asked about what type of events these were
