    Hi

Having bit of trouble with a mates 1991 7810 tractor,
Was driving the tractor and the lifts give up on it…
Now seems to be trouble with the pump as its seems the brakes were well down and has put filings up thru pump etc and damaged it..

    Is this easy to fix

    thanks

new pump I reckon, ballpark 400e
    oil change 100e ish
brake discs 20e each I think theres 3 or 4 each side. Its a big job to change discs as the whole half shaft housing has to come off, have fun and don't forget anti-squak (AS) additive in the oil.

You might be lucky though, try changing filter first. :(

If the seat's wet, sit on yer hat, a cool head is better than a wet ar5e.

Yep I'd say pump too, the main pump on the side of the box provides the pressure for the brakes.

My problem is that the trailer brakes only come on when the pedal is very firmly pressed. I would prefer if they would come on sooner as the tractor is doing all the work. I did bleed it but no luck.

Any advice?? Can these be adjusted so that the brakes will come on with slightly less pedal pressure...
