Does anybody know if there are any accountancy packages that import directly from AIB or Ulster Bank's online banking? If so are they any good?
I am trying to research the best accountancy package for our company... any suggestions?

If you use Xero online accounts you can import ulster bank statements using .csv its not a very simple process but certainly easier than manually typing in the data.

I resell Xero so im slightly biased.

On Sage 50 you can do e-reconcilliation with AIB, Bank of Ireland and Barclays

You can also do e-payments through the software, The software creates a file which you can push out to your ebanking software to process online payments to suppliers.

Pegasus Opera II can do direct exports to and imports from all the major banks. It's worth a look.
