    But we dont even know for sure a new version is coming do we?

    People are speculating that there will be a new iPhone unveiled in June yea?? They are prob right but what if its a 128GB version or something of low importance...

    Oh yeah I forgot Apple don't release new products every year.

    Steve Jobs said the 3G is good enough and they have 4.0 there's nothing else do we need to do.:rolleyes:

    Definitlely wait. I have a 1st gen in dreaded need of a reboot ( i tend to buy every two years). I am waiting, as much as it bugs me to not have the latest stuff.

    There's a conference booked by Apple in June, which is slated as the iPhone launch. You'd be mad to get the existing one. Remember, iPhone OS4 will actually be only partially working on an iPhone 3G as the phone is being phased out. The 3gs will become the new budget handset, but next year that'll be phased out too.

    There's an article right here on tuaw which is good reading for anyone considering buying the last of the outgoing model.

    Same boat as you last year and I waited. Think about it, your about 3 months to the new one, why would you buy the old one now when you can have the new one in 3 months?
