Breaking Sky contract?

    Hey all,

I'm in the middle of a relationship breakup and need to move out of the apartment we're currently living in. We signed up for Sky last August so still have 3 months left on our contract. I'd be happy to transfer the account to my new apartment if possible but I'd say chances are slim as most apartment buildings won't let you put up a dish (I haven't found somewhere yet).

Does anyone know what Sky are like in situations like this - do you think they'll let me out of the contract with no hassle or make me pay the remainder?

Any advice would be mucho appreciated! Thanks

You can terminate the contract and Sky will bill you for the remaining months at the lowest possible sub which at the moment is €22

If in the meanwhile you find somewhere that will allow a dish, Sky do a moving home package, though it may be cheaper to get a local installer to move it for you.

    Best of luck.
