Self employed -> Back to work - CV?

I decided to leave full time employment a couple of years ago to set up a small business. I did it at the time as I was ambitious and wanted to try out my own business skills. As it turned out, a few short months later, the proverbial hit the fan and two years of struggling later, it is time to accept that I have to finish up and find work again. I am wondering how best to put this into a cv/resume? The thing is, I am confident that there is a lot to appreciate in the decision I made and I would consider that I have achieved a lot in this time, but the work/business I set up was completely different to the industry I was working in for 10 years. Any tips/ideas?
