Anybody got some decent tips for golfers in either tournament.

Personally at the Verizon, what stands out for me per PP is:
Ricky Barnes 4/1 to finish in top 20. (9/1 for top 10) Consistent in the Masters
Scott Verplank 2/1 to finish in the top 20 (4/1 for top 10) Great last round in the Masters.

For the Volvo China Open
Colin Montgomerie (8/1 for top 10)
Yang Y.E. (5/4 for top 10) Played some stuff at the Masters

You can catch my betting previews at some stage today on Paddy Power

Should give you a good insight into what it will take to win either event this week.

The weather is Suzhou is horrible at the moment and the only main difference in forecast for the weekend is warmer temps. Still be blustery.

Best of luck with your selections.

Well at the Verizon Heritage I'm gonna go with these picks

Kevin Na - Plays well here, 3 top 20s although he did miss the cut last year. Currently one of the tours best young players yet to win on tour and says its one of his favourite courses - 40/1pp

Brian Gay - won this event easily by 10 shots last year so obviously likes the course, hasnt played that great this year but on last years performance has to be looked at - 28/1pp

Matt Kuchar - A good display at the Masters and in 10 events this year has been in the top 25 7 times so could be his time to get a win with the form he's in - 22/1pp

i backed 3 this week in the Verizon, btw this is not after timing as all my guys don't tee off untill at least 5 bells
Main bet €7.50 e'w Jeff Maggert @80/1,tight course suits him, played well here last yar coming into the event missing 2 cuts, this year he's coming in with a lot more comfidence, hitting a lot of gir lately so if his putter is at all hot i'm very comfident of a good run

2 €5 wins Snedeker @33/1 and Tim Clark @ 33/1

I have 30 each way on KJ Choi at 20-1 on PP just after the Masters ended, I have him at 66-1 and 50-1 in the US Open each way also. He's 3-1 now in the Verizon :)

And I've only seen this thread now, which is why I hadn't posted earlier that I fancied him. However I can give you advice to back Mark Selby at 9/1 in the World Championships this year, I have 50 win on him and 25 each way online, I really really fancy him... /snooker.

Nice R1.

Good luck with your bet.

(Should of doubled him up with Yang on European Tour (-: )

that's a big price for Selby, where did you back him?

Backed him on PP, also did Ding Junhui at 9/1 and Ali Carter at 28/1. Selby is now 8/1 but still worth 50 each way. Also 20 euro treble of Peter Ebdon 4/6, Ali Carter 4/6 and Michael Holt 6/5. Holt is a qualifier but I fancy his chances against Joe Perry. Ebdon is playing Dott and Carter is playing Cope, both will be close games.. CAN'T WAIT!!

In other news KJ Choi is now 7/1 after a double bogey on the 18th. Still to play front nine though.

l fancy doherty to knock out selby in the 1st round.

even if selby does get through he has a hard draw.

l think ding junhui at 9/1 is a great bet

FFS Slocum! double bogey on the 18th the last two rounds.
Thats 4 shots dropped and hes only 2 off the lead, chance gone i'd say.Jim Furyk in the lead and flying, about 6/4 ish at this stage.
KJ Choi disappointing T44 8 shots off the lead, after a first round 64
