What to wear with this top?

Hoping some of you might have some suggestions!!!
I bought this top last week in New Look, the picture doesn't show the colour very well but it's more lilac than it shows in the picture! It's a crop top and comes down just past my belly button!! I couldn't imagine what to wear it with at the time but picked it up thinking I would surely think of something!! :rolleyes:
I'm thinking and thinking but I just can't figure out what to wear with it!!

That top is fabulous I want one!

The trousers from asos would look great but I think the high waisted skirt would be the better option! Maybe a black body con and some bangles? That would look cool with that top over it..

Thanks for the ideas!! I do think whatever it is it needs to have a high waist, otherwise id need to have some kind of top underneath, id be afraid of looking slutty with my belly on show!!
I'm liking the peg leg trouser idea, thanks girls.. I haven't tried them on in shops but have admired them on tall skinny people! Unfortunately im slightly pear shaped... I wonder would they look ridiculous on me!! ??:o
When I bought the top I was thinking either a light grey or a very light khaki colour would go well with it!! Might sound wierd because the colour isn't showing up well on the site but I also picked up THESE shoes thinking they would be cool with the top!! ... opinions??
Do ye think that if I went with grey high waisted peg leg trousers with the lilac top and khaki shoes... would that be a bit too much?? I'm finding it so hard to put clothes together lately, haven't went shopping in so long I just don't know what works anymore!!

Sometimes peg leg trousers can add volume around the hip and waist area!
Particularly if they drape, flow or have excess material around the hips. Thats not always good for pear shapes.. Why not try a high waisted skirt that defines the waist? Maybe an A-line skirt that skims the hips with some volume at the end

I'm slightly pear shaped as well so always assumed I couldn't wear skinny jeans but after trying on loads of skinny jeans I found a few pairs that suit me. So my advice would be try on loads of those style trousers and don't give up after the first bad pair.

I think I will try some as well. Need a change!

I agree with high waisted and would suggest jeans or longer skirt so as you aren't getting legs and middle out. Not a good idea in Dublin City Center.
