I hope I can get some enlightenment here, thanks guys!

I have a UPC HD+ recorder (cisco) which is full up and I don't want to delete anything off it!

....I'm looking for a HD DVR (PVR) which I can record to, from the UPC box

I don't require EPG's or digital tuners but if they come with a unit thats fine.

I'm a little confused looking through various reviews on HD DVRs etc.

I also would like a media player preferably built in but not essential for viewing internet stuff on my HDTV.

My TV is a Pioneer KRP 500A so has a media box but tbh I haven't a clue what it can or cannot play back?
