    Hi lads and ladies,

Didn’t think I would find myself posting in this section, I hope one or two of you could give some advice.

I met a girl threw a friend back in October of last year on a night out, we got on really well and were talking and texting every day since we met, I wouldn’t fall for a girl easy, but I said to myself there was something I liked about this girl and I was falling into the trap of having feelings for her, so we decide to go on a date back in January, We got on really well, but that massive spark wasn’t there, the next morning I got the text from her, sorry I wasn’t feeling it and want to be friends.

I was disappointed but normally I would move on and leave it at that, but I couldn’t get her out of my head and I found the feelings growing even more, and we were still talking most days as well, But I found in the last month if I asked her out for a few drinks as mates or asked her did she fancy doing anything she would avoid the question, so I asked her is she with a fella, she told me it shouldn’t make any difference if either of us is with someone or not, so last week I was out on the town and fairly drunk and I bottled things up the last few months about how I felt, so I sent her a text saying I still had feelings for her, but got not reply back, so I decided to text her yesterday just to say sorry, which she said no problem but she didn’t feel the same, and she admitted she was meeting a fella the last four weeks and she fell for him, but he broke it off with her yesterday as he was moving abroad for work and she was heartbroken . I have being really nice to her all along and she tome me she never goes for the nice guy, its always the bad guy that would turn her down and she wishes she could change that, which is even more confusing.

I was fairly gutted that she was meeting a fella and wouldn’t tell me, but now she knows how I feel about being turned down, and I know this sounds really bad, but I just want to cut ties with her altogether as its just wrecking my head to much, and because she is down at the moment it would make me feel better, I know it’s a bad thing to do and childish but I just feel the nicer I am to a girl the more its gets thrown back in your face. Sorry about going on so much:)

    Hi there OP.

I think you're right to cut ties with this girl. You've said it yourself, she has your head wrecked.

She has said since the beginning that she doesn't feel the same way, so at least she was honest.

When she broke up with this other lad, she turned to you as she knew you'd listen to her and possibly make her feel better about herself.

Don't be waiting around for crumbs. She doesn't feel the same so you'd do well to move on.

Wouldn't it be great to meet someone who felt the same about you as you do about them? This is unlikely to happen when you're still hung up on someone unattainable.
