    Hi

I know there are loads of similar threads on boards already, I've read nearly all of them but we still haven't decided on where to go on holiday this summer
Myself and my girlfriend are in our early 30's and have six weeks in July and August to go on holiday
We are looking for somewhere sunny, with a good night life, nice beaches, and places of interest/activities and we would like to travel around a little but not too much, maybe throw in a cruise.

Since we are going for six weeks, somewhere not so expensive would be great
So far we are considering Central America or Thailand this is in the middle of Thailands rainy season, but are open to alternative suggestions
Has anyone any suggestions? Where in central america would be best to visit at this time, we were considering Costa Rica or Mexico or even Columbia?

    Thanks

I would suggest South Africa. Check out fixtures for World Cup but it may be over by the time you go. This is an amazing place with an abundance f places to see. Safe to travel as a tourist, cheap food, drink and accomodation, great weather, people.Travelled over 6 weeks from cape town to jo'burg with about 12-15 stops inbetween for a couple of days. Not sure if you would hostel it or not but the hostels really made it for us. Fingers crossed that the World cup hasnt bumped up the prices though

Would go back in a heartbeat.PM me if you want more details on it
