Came across these earlier on ebay, very good prices. Multi compound grips similiar to golf pride but much cheaper. anybody tried them, any good?

Havent tried the "Sharpro New Decade Multi Compound" myself, but I have just put a "Sharpro Tour Velvet Cord" on my 7 iron. I also put a "Golf Pride Tour Velvet Cord" on my driver. In terms of feel there is no difference between the two, but as I only put them on on friday I cannot comment on durability. Having said that, if you take a Sharpo Tour Velvet Cord at GB£1.80 and a Golf Pride Tour Velvet at GB£7.00, if it lasts more than 1/3rd as long it will be "better value".

I will report back with my findings.

Also gamola golf, are the people who seem to distribute the Sharpro's on EBay they also have their own website where you can buy the Sharpro's and basically every other type of grip you like. The website is http://www.gamolagolf.co.uk

All good man I have bought them many time for myself and for regripping others clubs and I have never had a complaint regarding them.......I'm going on a very distant Memory here, but i think Sharpo may have been the original MultiCompound.........Been wrong before though. Pound for Pound a solid grip:p
