international wrestling show in the kingston dun laoghaire

i just picked up a leaflet for this today ,but i can't seem to find any information about it online or any where to be honest, just wondering if any has any infromation on it such as the card or possible quality(if its worth going to or not),the leaflet just says the shows on may 1st and that tickets are 10euro available at the venue and limited tickets available on the door on the night

Its one of our shows it usually features a mixture of homegrown & foreign talent, the show generally lasts 2 hours with a intermission where you can buy merch & get autographs. The crowd generally love the show & its not a bad 2 hours of entertainment for €10 ... though it probably wont change your life or anything

After the info was posted up yesterday we got word off the hotel today that someone rang convincing the hotel we were a UFC like-show, the hotel has given us back our deposit & the show is cancelled we will hopefully try reschedule the show in the future but not for the forseeable, Wedgelington if you would like to contact me by PM I will email you about the next Dublin show if your at all interested

@Cannibal - Yeah unfortunatly like a lot of places they were hesistant because of the stigma wrestling has & alot of convincing was needed to have the show in the 1rst place but thankfully just a handful of posters were put up before we found out, had we spent money on paper adverts etc as planned coulda been worse!

If this is something that happens on a regular basis then maybe you guys should put together some sort of demo dvd to give potential venues. Just something that's 5 or 6 mins showing exactly what IwW is and what it's about. Maybe throw in some of your media appearances.

What a load of crap. Seriously like, do people have that little to do with their time? Bloody hell.

When they took the booking and the word "wrestling" was there, what did they think it was?

Yeah we have a DVD called Intro that we have sold out of/given to TV Stations, Venues etc, that had matches between irish lads, TV Spots etc, were looking to get more or upload it to YouTube so that we can just email people links,

The funny thing is Captain Rooney is on the poster & you still get that stigma!you could probably be mistaken to think Mandrake is involved in MMA but a masked caped man!?!

Again would of been worse had advertising been done 100% but even for the people that seen the posters hopefully we wont have dissappointed anyone
