I'm trying to uninstall CA eTrust Antivirus because it will interfere with McAfee that I'm trying to install. The program isn't in the uninstall software list, but its in my Program Files folder. I've tried deleting the entire CA folder, but when I do I get an error message saying "Cannot delete lic98.dll: Access is denied. Make sure that the disk is not full or write protected and that the file is currently not in use." Same happens for LogWatNT.

I read somewhere to type in unvet32 into Run. Tried that but it couldnt find it.

    Any help is appreciated.

Meant to reply to this yesterday but forgot....

CA eTrust Antivirus is apparently impossible to uninstall in my experience. I tried for several hours following advice from various forums and very tool I could think of and I failed. Eventually I just booted in safe mode deleted all of its files and register keys, unregistered its dlls and used Autoruns(http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb963902.aspx) to get rid of its startup programs. It's an ugly way of doing things but I found no alternative. I had no problem installing Avira and Comodo after doing this.
