I don't know. Did you check the website?

I've heard this too, but from the same person who told me they weren't taking any bookings at that time and that a pass certificate is only valid for six months now. I happened to apply for two tests around that time, and both certs were valid for two years, as was my car cert 4 years ago. If they're updating the test, it'll be on the news section of TheoryTest.ie.

I'd like to know this too, have the leaving cert coming up so i don't want to be studying for the test in may if its not going to go up in June.

I got my confirmation letter for the theory test today and it still says "To pass you must answer correctly 35 questions out of 40" so I assume it's staying the same. My test is booked for June.

Every second day somebody says the questions are being raised to 80, don't mind them!

The amount of questions will NOT be going up, you will have to get 35 out of 40 correct in order to pass.

The theory cert is valid for 2 years from date test was taken.
