stone chips

    hi guys, can anyone recommend a good person to repair all the stone chip marks on the car,someone reasonably priced in cork city or county, i seem to pick them up everytime i take the car out, appreciate any help :(

    Honestly, whether you use me, or anyone else, stone chips on a bonnet can only be disguised. If it's a bumper, no prob, respray the affected areas. But a bonnet would need to go to a bodyshop because of the size of the panel. I'll happily recommend bodyshops if that's what you want, but just be wary of price.

    if you're getting lots of chips, that could point to a previous repair on the bonnet.

    Don Atkinson in Innishannon (Which is only 15 mins outside the city) is extremely good, reasonably priced too. Failing that if you're in the city, Pat Hegarty's Marina Crash Repairs are good too.
