i have two coins given to me by my mam before she died
one is to commemorate the queens silver jubilee
the other is to commemorate charles and di`s wedding
anyone any idea of best place to get a valuation or even an idea of value

Check www.eBay.co.uk but don't hold out much hope as the two items you mention were massed produced for collectors. As a general rule coins, stamps, ceramics etc that are massed produced for collectors are a poor investment as they tend to survive unlike items which go into general circulation and get worn out, destroyed, lost or recycled.

as judgement day said they do not hold much value, the coins would have much more sentimental value to you. they usually sell for around €2 each
