407 Air filter

    I was checking my air filter on my Pug and I cant remember which way it goes back in. Is it orange foam side up or is it the grey coloured fibre ( dirty part ) up.

    I tried the torch test to see if the light could shine through but it didnt. This filter seems a bit thick for light to get through even on a new one, or should it:confused:

    Hi Richard tea....its the dirty side down as the air comes in from
    the bottom....;)..Don't think it will fit the other way...:confused:
    If you not going to replace it maybe blow it out with compressed air...:)

    Hello Row, Im some muppet, your right, it only fits in the one way. I think ill pick up a new filter tomorrow just for peace of mind. A new AFM made no difference. So next step is to get a Diag done on it:(

    P.s I got my female torx sockets but ill hold off on doing anything till I have her tested on a Diag computer
