I am looking for jobs sites advertising jobs elsewhere in Europe. Do you know of any? I don't have a second language so this might limit me.

Monster has jobs for all over the world.

What industry are you in? There are quite a few IT-based jobs in the Czech republic, and many of them do not require you to speak czech.

Not knowing anything about graphic design, what sort of skills do you have? What sort of jobs could you do?

For example I know a company looking for a web developer with HTML/CSS/javascript experience. Could you do that?

No. I have no developer skills. All my 3rd level education and professional experience lies in graphic design for print.

No offence, but for someone looking for a job you should really be more descriptive with your skills. Remember what you write here is indexed by google, so someone searching for someone with your skills could potentially find you through your posting here.

Can you tell us the sorts of jobs you could work in? Any experience you have etc? Are you looking for a graphics job or are there other areas you can work in?

I posted here asking for any useful jobs sites people might know of. I'm not posting an ad. I don't see how listing my specific graphic design skill would be of any help. I think it is very unlikely that someone find my post here and invite me for interview.

I have only graphic design skills so realistically would only get graphic design job, admin job or casual work.

I'm not finding the Monster site good. For example the monster site for Spain is in Spanish etc. I am looking for sites that are in English if that is possible.

I am sorry if you took offense,

With regard to monster, dont go to monster.com and select spain as country of origin because then it will be displayed in spanish. Instead select Ireland as your country, then underneath the search box click international search, and select the country of your choosing.
For example spain, gets you the following link which shows 6 postings.

    http://jobsearch.monster.ie/Search.aspx?q=graphic%20design&cy=es&lid=166&re=130#q=graphic%20design&cy=es&lid=166&re=0&pg=1&dv=1

I see what you mean. I went to monster.com.

PS I didn't take offense but just don't see the point of what you are saying.

The point I was trying to make was if your looking for a job you should be shouting your skills from the roof tops. Particularly with things the way they are job-wise. People in countries all over the world come to this site all you need is for someone to recognize a particular skill that you have and go "Hey I think my company is looking for one of those...". The reason I wanted to know was so i could look in the jobs we have available and see if there were any matches. Unfortunately it appears there isnt.

I don't think this is the appropriate site for that. I have those sort of posts on other more specific sites.

Has anyone else any useful links?

Man, he's looking for advice on other websites. He is not, as he already told you, not looking to advertise here.

It's not the best place to be advertising skill sets to be quite honest. I understand what you are saying, but he is seeking other information ;)

OP, if you find out more let me know. Cheers.

I wasnt suggesting she(he?) upload their CV just a brief run down of their skills so I could look on the job sites I know here and see if there were any matches.

But I want the name of sites so I can look myself! Why not post the site you know of?

    www.expats.cz - look under jobs
    www.brnoexpats.cz - look under jobs
    www.allpraha.com - look under work

If you have time on your hands which i assume you do, you could check every expat website in europe and see if you find anything.

    Good luck in your search.

Have you set up a LinkedIn Profile? If not set one up and join some graphic design groups on there... post up your skills on one of the message boards you can also browse for jobs.

Did that ages ago. No use so far!

Has anyone actually found LinkedIn any good?

A relation of mine is a big recruiter in the UK and uses it regularly.. the trick is to keep updating your profile and posting regularly so your posts are always on the top of their message boards.. on monster and the likes of those re-upload your CV weekly and keep it visible as it keeps it near the top when recruiters search databases. Hope this makes sense.
