Lost a fine maiden heifer last week the day after I turned her out to grass. Seemed to have some brain disorder. Vet could not figure it out at all. I dosed her for copper the previous day and may have given her more than the recommended 20ml per head ??? Could this have killed her ??? Using the same product now for 3 years with no problems .....till now:o !!

wouldnt think copper would have been too dangerous.

Copper should be given deep into the muscle, so that it releases slowly. (If you pull the skin to oone side before inserting the needle, you don't get local swelling)

Maybe some got directly into the blood stream!
Seems too much of a coincidence doesn't it, the day before !!

i`d say that it was the copper as it causes liver failure
