    im trying to find case studies of court cases that involved computer related crimes, does anyone know of any online source

    for free? off the top of my head the best are probably
    irlii.org, bailii.org and legalperiodicals.org.

    I think courts.ie has stuff too

    Your problem will be that there aren't many/any written Judgments in this area. See UK case law. The best one I can think of is DPP v Lennon http://www.bailii.org/ew/cases/EWHC/Admin/2006/1201.html there are some cases in that one.
