Tiger Woods 5-4 with PP not to win a major in 2010. This price illustrates what a player he is. With 3 majors left - The US Open, British Open and USPGA to make a player 5-4 not to win in 100 player fields is remarkable. He loves Pebble Beach and St Andrews but still after all his problems and another break incoming, 5-4 is a good price. Is it too good to be true?

He'll probably be what, 4/1 for the remaining three?

5/4 looks like value to me - a laying treble on Betfair would probably only pay about 4/5 by my rough calculations.

    very interesting market alright

personally i hope he doesnt win any the big baby, thought he was disgusting all week with his fake smiles inbetween rage and interviews

however he has won both times at st andrews and i'd make him no longer than a 5/2 poke here. He loves the course and unless the rough is jungle long, he can just keep driving and chipping from the rough when he goes off line like the last time

it was a walk in the pak in 05, monty was chasing hopelessly, maybe westwood could throw down the gaunlet to him there

as for pebble beach, another fab course for him. If he gets 2 tournaments before here and sorts it out from tee to green, he;ll be hard to beat, but then it is an open and Yeng last season showed you can go toe to toe with him and beat him down

so often tiger has won tournaments because men around him fall to pieces in his presence, not because tiger plays unbelievable well. Westwood, Mickelson not Choi looked particularily bothered about woods presence on the leaderboard on sunday

    sorry should summarise

at 5/4 i'd leave it alone, doesnt look an exceptional price to give you a season's interest

How about Tiger not to break Jack Nicklaus' 18 majors record? I like the 6/4 with Coral.

Exactly - you would have to wait until he retired or died - either way the "real" value of your money would disintegrate due to inflation.

Ha that's true, suppose you'd have to wait until he retired! :pac:
I don't think he'll manage it though, what with his 'personal problems' and he has had some injuries throughout his career.
