    Hi Folks,

Being cut loose in the last week in August as O/H going to NZ.

Any suggestions for a few days in Europe?

Had in mind Poland or Germany - not sure how they are for a female tourist.

    Would appreciate any help :)

Of all the places I've been to in Euope, Llubjana in Slovenia is the city I would most like to go back to. A couple of days in the city and a trip up to lake Bled would be really nice IMO. Worth a look perhaps?

Never been to Poland but have travelled extensively in Germany by myself (also a female), never had any issues! Loved every moment of it :)

Germany is lovely, I've been there a few times (to Cologne and Berlin) and I've always found the people lovely and friendly. They also tend to have great English and are happy to speak it once you make a bit of an effort - which drove me a bit nuts actually as I was trying to improve my German and people would switch to English as soon as they heard my accent!

    Would highly recommend Germany.
