I would encourage anyone to get out early in the morning at the moment to listen to the dawn chorus which is coming into full swing. This morning i got up early and had a walk around a local park by me and it was amazing to hear the birds in full song.

In the space of a half an hour i had blackcap, willow warbler, chiffchaff, chaffinch, greenfinch, linnet, blue tit, great tit, wren, robin, dunnock, blackbird, song and mistle thrush.

A great way to start the day, so again i'd encourage anyone to get up maybe that little bit earlier and get out and have a listen!

I agree, i do be out training my dog at dawn in the mronings out by the river and hearing the birds sing and watching the kingfishers flying up the rivers cannot be beaten as far as as am concerned. Its great for the body and soul and keeps you reminded that its more than humans who inhabit this earth.
