Ive read the stickies here and still need a bit of confermation.

Going into Europe this summer (Mainly Eurozone countries). If i use my BOI Laser card in atms to withdrawl cash, as i understand there will be no charge?

If there is a charge, ill be better topping up my Visa credit card and withdrawl from that?

I know the Laser card is hit and miss at POS for being used as a debit card, but for withdrawing cash is what i'll be using my Laser for.

There should be no charges in the Eurozone. Check the back of your card for Maestro and Cirrus logos - if it has those you should have no problems using it at ATMs.

Cheers, yes it has those symbols ok. The BOI website seems to suggest there will be no fee for extracting money in Eurozone atms (Only in different currency country's), But with BOI you never know!

Sometimes i wish i had a Ulster bank account which issues a Visa debit card and not laser.
