Basically as the title says, I really wanna move out, in fact I need to, I have so much stress on my mind and living at home isn't helping to ease it. I need some independence. Problem is though, I don't have many friends and the friends I do have are all in full time college and wouldn't have enough to move out. I however am working full time so can afford to no problem, as long as it's sharing with someone else. I wouldn't like to live with more than 1 other person though. Does anyone know where I can look for people who are in the same boat as me? I know you're all probably going to suggest going on to let.ie/rent.ie/daft.ie or whatever and looking up "sharing" but the thing is I'm 19 and young and a bit of a mad child and would like to move in with someone 25 or younger but most of the people on daft.ie etc are home owners and I don't think I could have the craic with thim. Any advice as to what I could do?

Ask around college and let people know you're looking for a room. Best places are like the best jobs I've had - found simply by word of mouth. Should be a noticeboard you can stick something up on too.

Everything I don't like is either woke or fascist - possibly both - pick one.

Ask about - I think I found most of my student accommodation by hearing a friend of a friend was looking for a flat-mate. You could also try looking in the local paper and on super-market noticeboards in the area you want to live in. You could try puting ads up to say you are looking for a fellow flatmate around a local college or uni, too.

    Best of luck.

they're not mainly home-owners on daft??? search under 'sharing' and you should get something. you can also advertise there for looking for accommodation (i think there is a charge for this).

Write up an email & ask your friends to forward it onto their email lists. someone will know someone lookijng & recommended person can seem better option than total stranger.

By the way, i've lived in loads of flatshares over the years & while moving in with friends can seem less daunting, its often a lot easier starting as flatmates.

best of luck. getting your own freedom is fantastic.

Bear in mind that it would be difficult to live in a student house when you work full time. Students will keep odd hours and will possibly keep you awake at night and you will be tired for work.

Look up daft.ie. The sharing section.
