I'd love an Irish version of night cops, all the action but with culchie accents!!

"Right bhoy you'd want to cop yourself or you'll find yourself shifted"

This is exactly the line that has taken many a young man on the path to alcoholism. A guy should not have to prove anything by getting drunk.

Belfast isn't actually in Great Britain. It is a part of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

They've moved beyond this league and are currently competing internationally. Of course they have an unfair advantage that you would understand if you saw the quality of their women.

    +1

Ive being there for 2 stag weekends, its mental. Women are something different, I would have thought Newcastle would have at least made this list.

    Crazy place, good, but crazy.

OP, you've never been to Ireland and know nothing of our history or geography, correct?

Indeed. Britain is an island. Belfast is not on said island.

    He's right.

Belfast is part of The United Kingdom of Great Britain & Northern Ireland.

It is on the Island of Ireland.

If ever there was a city where beer goggles were popular it would have to be Newcastle.

I'm just waiting for the person to start arguing with you over your fact, which de-rails the thread. It's been done many times before !

    Anyway, back on topic now..

It's hardly the OP's fault. The title of the piece on the link is 'Britain's Booziest Towns' but in the description, it describes them as being from the UK.

    It's MSN's mistake

I'm actually from NI, I can just see the article beyond pedantry.

The Brits just have a penchant for alliteration is all.
If Belfast would have been nominated the ugliest city it would have been "UK's ugliest towns".

    Belfast is a city.

It therefore couldn't win a competiton amongst towns.

    ;)
