Porsche boxter replacement back window

    Folks

I have a 1997 Porsche Boxster soft top convertible. The clear plastic rear window has developed a crack and is leaking as a result.

Can anybody advise how I can get this fixed?

I reckon I'll be able to source a sheet of similar plastic from a specialist plastic supplier as I've no doubt it's a standard type of plastic. I can cut to size myself. I've priced plastic sheets for convertibles on ebay for €80 which is a bit expensive for a sheet of plastic IMO.

I could remove the old plastic window from the canvas myself.

The new plastic window would need to be sewn to the canvas. Can anybody advise a company that could do this? Preferably in the Munster area? I'm thinking a company that fixes sails for boats might be able to do it??

If anybody has experienced the same problem before and can be of assistance to me, I'd love to hear fom them.

    Thanks
    MM
