Firefox Displaying code differently..?

    I am doing some simple basic xhtml code for an assignment and I'm wondering why this code:

    <table border="0" align="center" width="1200" >

    <tr>
    <a href="NewbornBaby.html"> Newborn Baby </a>
    </tr>

    <tr>
    <a href="BabyBoy02.html"> Baby Boy 0-2 </a>
    </tr>
    <tr>
    <a href="Boy.html"> Boy 2-6 </a>
    </tr>

    </table>

    Which appears as such in Explorer:

    Newborn Baby
    Baby Boy 0-2
    Boy 2-6

    Firefox reads it differently and leaves all on one line as such (without moving onto next row of table):

    Newborn Baby Baby Boy 0-2 Boy 2-6

    why is this? :(
