    Hi all,

Im driving a 2002(new style) nissan primera and I'm just about to get it serviced. It a 1.6 petrol and its got about 95k on the clock. I've been reading a lot of post on here about what people recommend with regard to getting your car serviced and there seems to be specific things which need to be done to the car at specific services . For example valve cleaning every 40k etc. I have two quick questions,

    1. Is there anything specific I need to ensure gets done for my milage.
    2. Could people recommend a good place in Dublin (south if possible) that do a good job. I currently use a certain garage chain that im not happy with anymore. Thanks a lot guys .

    Gar44,

I'm afraid I don't have an answer to your particular question, but I did just buy a 2002 Nissan Primera (estate) on Friday so I'll be watching this thread closely! Would it be ok to pm you and ask you more about the car so I know what to expect in future? Mine is also a 1.6 petrol.

    Cheers

the owners manual has the serviving schedule on it, as well as a list of items that need to be replaced at different intervals.

Try and get a copy of the service history or go back to where the car has been previously serviced. they'll have a good idea of what jobs have and haven't been already done.
