    Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with Lisloughrey Lodge in Cong? After going through months of trying to deciding on a venue I came across this place and have fallen in love with it. Trouble is I cant seem to find any wedding reviews online after 2008. Any help would be much appreciated

    Thanks in advance :)

Can't comment on the wedding side of things but stayed there for the Easter weekend a couple of weeks ago. Loved it.Everything was great food, service rooms etc. Great views out over the lake. Def recommend it

was at one there last summer, lovely spot, the rooms are beautiful if extremely expensive.

Thanks for the input appreciate it. Am worried about the cost for guests alright, it is a bit excessive in this day and age. We are getting married in Ballintuber Abbey so am looking for somewhere close enough to it. I did have a "laugh" when Ashford Castle sent me their brochure, you have to rent out all 80 rooms in the castle whether you have enough guests to fill them or not which works out at a whopping €17,200........absolutely crazy.
