Hey everyone,I was wondering if anyone knew where to find the records of old street names and records(if any) relating to demolition of houses that were knocked and rebuilt.I've been researching soldiers both casualty and survivors of the Great War and have come across street names that still exist but the houses I thought some of these men lived in are not as old as what I thought,I've also discovered that on some streets the numbering of the houses were altered and renumbered in a different sequence at a later date.Would the local council or library be the best place to start searching?
