A couple of questions on trades

I am doing some research on a new AEG purchase at the moment. It's not a deal breaker, but authentic trades would be nice on whatever new gun I go for, and I am struggling a bit to get answers from google.

Right now it's down to a HK416 or an FN Scar (take stanags, aren't common, and aren't dog ugly). For the 416, I know HK are now licensing their trades, but to who?

On the Scar I have seen the discussions here, and I believe the top 3 makes are the G&G, ARES and VFC. The VFC and ARES have trades, does the G&G? From the photos I have seen I think it doesn't, and worse has "G&G Armaments" written on it I think?

VFC don't have trades any more as far as I know. Your best bet is to talk to hobby airsoft, all their stuff has trades.

Hk416 - licences to uramax there selling the vgc version but the trades are wrong and have a lot of crap on the about who the licence belongs to, you can still pick up the older correct vfc with markings but there rare and you would need to email shops to see what versions they have

scar- vfc is correct and easly avaliable
cybergun stuff has ' trades' but as with uramax there not correct I'm afraid

    Thanks for that.

a lot of pictures of HK416's seem to show Heckler & Koch written on them, like this Kalash one listed on eHobby. http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/d-boys-hk416-full-metal-airsoft-aeg.html

Are the pictures out of date, or is this a dodgy clone thing? :)

Aparently Umarex has the sole licence for H&K USA but have been licenced to KWA /KSC ,and 1-2 other companys
bow if you have seen the Umarex trades white writing as standard and a orange/red large H&k on the reciever dosent look well at all

I was looking at a local (Austrian) supplier and they have a Umarex/CA HK416 EBB with full trades:
    http://www.airsofthq.at/shop/AEG---AEP/Classic-Army/HK-416.html

It is a bit pricey (€450) and I can't find any reviews, but I have heard mixed things about CA. Any opinions here?

VFC seem to have trades back as an option on their new GBB M4s and HK416s. The extra costs for the trades must go towards paying the licence fees to Clot and Uramax/HK. I don't know if the trades are 100% but they look very close from the early photos. They may re-release their 416 AEG with the correct trades again if this is the case.
