Speed or Traffic Camera

    Hey I reecently was on the M1 at juntion 9 and was doing 90mph and i saw a speed camera sign above the road on the message boards does anyone know if the camera is active and whether its a speed camera or a traffic management camera.

    Please don't reopen very old threads - new thread started.
    Did you see a sign or a camera as your post doesn't clarify.
    On the assumption that you saw a camera, that would be a traffic management camera that you passed - the only fixed speed camera is around Dunleer (not sure of junction number), north of Drogheda.
    However, the road is teeming with unmarked car (I saw an MPV there last week!) so you never, maybe they still got lucky

    It's just past Junction 12, 62k from Dublin
