Well it looks like the parcel has disappeared off the face of the universe. Or maybe the bermuda triangle. Any ideas what to do next?

I would check with your local delivery office, although it may be stuck in customs.

Some systems get a bit fuzzy when they cross international lines.

I thought the same only last week. It took about 5 days for the next "arrived in destination country" to show up whereas before it always took 2 days at the most. You should expect it to show up any day now, probably in Portlaoise and then it will be delivered soon after, unless it goes to customs on the way!

I have had 3 packages delayed recently, and in work a few have been delayed too, I was even wondering if there was some unofficial go-slow going on or something, which has not been made public. I had 2 things coming from the North which usually take 2 days max, took a week.

I had a package sent via usps express.. Sent on April 1st recieved today. It was held in customs for 2 days. The usps site is awful, they don't update the status very often. Try putting the tracking number into the tracker on anpost.ie that's how I found out where my package was :)

USPS is grand really, it's just the packages usually have to go to a central depot before international departure, it's usually quick enough within the US. Once it's marked as having left the US, just move to anpost.ie and put the tracking number in and track there from then on. When you put the US tracking number in, it will give you a link to an Irish tracking number, just bookmark the link and you can use this to get a direct track :)

I've never had a package not arrive and I've ordered a fair few bits in my time. We're lucky to have such a service :)
