He said leave it till she's two and see then if her foot has corrected itself, shes 2 in nov, I think it is a lot better than when we went to physio 3 mths ago....a waiting game, he said since she walked early at 10 mths it meant her tendons in right foot are weak, so leave her out of shoes till she's 2, only allowed pre-walkers when necessary

My eldest had crooked toes, they were overlapping on her left foot, like you i saw the specialist and he said wait and see as she was only 2 at the time.
The reason was as she grew it would more than likely correct itself without the need for surgery, but if it didn't by the time she was 6 they'd cut the ligaments under the toes and bring them around to the top of the toe to straighten them.

Her aunt (my sis in law) has the same thing and never got the surgery done until she was an adult. it caused years of pain for her and not being able to wear anything only runners.. that's why i took her early. he did explain that the ligaments dont' always grow at the same rate but by the time they are finished growing they usually end up the same..
So she's 11 now and has a lovely set of straight toes since she was about 5, without the need for surgery, ;) hope it's of some help
