Cheers Dave!!;), it was just a thanks to ECSC for the use of the range and the guys at Rathdrum for all the transportation, setting up and hassle they go through to run the comp with the electronics!

It was well worth the work to come up with the results! Still at least one more chance for others to qualify, so it's a very good start. I don't think we'd have acheived this without ECSCs help.

Well done FLOYDTSER, I'll get to the results in the morning, too knackered to even comtemplate it now.

Just to add that the qualifying score is 590/600 and FLOYDSTER scored, yes you guessed it: 590/600 :)

As well as thanking Rathdrum & ECSC I would like to thank It wasn't me!! and ConorIRL for helping out our wee totty! ;)

She enjoyed the day immensely, and to be honest is much easier on the eye (and easier to listen to) than FLOYDSTER!

and dont worry........she has already said "she'll be back!" :P

    Thanks again,

    intershoot

Speaking of the 'wee lass', I know you asked me about qualifying scores for juniors and I don't know if I answered you or was interrupted (my head was wrecked anyway from four solid days and nights bringing the new website online) but the short answer is yes there is a qualifying score for juniors, we just haven't worked it out yet.

18 disciplines with 4 qualifying levels plus juniors is a lot of work, but we're over half way through and I'm hoping we can finalise it tomorrow night. As soon as it's done it'll be on the website.

Results are up now on targetshooting.ie. I'm way down. :o It really was a testing day. The problem wasn't bad shooting, but the light conditions made it very difficult indeed to get shots into the ten ring, and when they got there, they tended to just about get there. I'd typically have 20+ inner tens in a match unless I fluff it, compared to only thirteen yesterday. I don't think I've ever shot so many 10.0s and 10.1s in my life! Looking at the print off though, the stringing of shots and groups and the arcs opening up due to eye strain are very apparent. Just need a mechanism to deal with that kind of light intensity and I'll start making a threat of myself! The conditions really do make achieving the qualifying score a properly tough task, and it was good to see it done in spite of them, especially when FLOYDSTER had dropped five points in his second card, and six in his first twenty shots! Cleaning up the rest of the match with only four dropped was a good day at the office.
