Hi! I was just wondering whether I will have to pay for the final(Mayo V Cork) on top of what I've already paid for the Season ticket? Also, would I be guaranteed a seat in the Lower Cusack for this match?

    Thank you!:)

us season ticket holders get into the NFL for free if our county has qualified. presume it will be the allocated seat but I really dont think the crowd will be any greater than 25,000 with the teams that qaulified!

The official line is that you pay extra, charged onto the card you purchased with. You pay whether you go or not.

However last year all season tickets holders for all counties were admitted free of charge.

I've just checked it up on my e-mails and the final is included in the price. You don't have to pay extra.

Thanks for both of your replies though!

ya thats what I thought... Bluetonic had me worried but I remembered seeing it somewhere, but it doesn't appear to be on the GAA site.

Correct me if I'm wrong but last year's season ticket holders didn't have to pay to get into the League final. I think it was a once off 'thank you' to the season ticket holders.

does anyone know how much tickets will be for the league final?

I would say 20-25 as it will be a double header. probably will be early bird ticket offers like for the club finals.

    definitive answer from last email:
Please note that if your County reaches the League Final you may use your Season Ticket. There will be no further charge to your credit card, it is included in the base price of €75. We will be in touch with you when the fixtures are confirmed.

Best of luck to you and your county this weekend.

They've done it two years in a row now. Just like Kerry in '06 & '07. Coincidentally enough against Mayo and Cork too. :p

That's great, but I have another twist

    Are season tickets transferable ?

My mother in law gave me her Kerry season ticket so i could use it to see Mayo beat Cork, can I use it ?

    2 problems,

I would wear a wig and a dress if I were you, (then again she is a kerrywoman so probably no difference:P)

and the 2nd thing aint going to happen!!

Honestly though, they are not transferable and I wouldn't say there is any problem with a man using another mans but a womans name with a mans face might cause you problems. No harm trying though I suppose....

    From http://www.gaa.ie/tickets-and-merchandise/tickets/gaa-season-ticket/the-opt-out/

Does this now mean my GAA Season Ticket is non-transferable?
No! You can of course pass on your GAA Season Ticket to a friend or family member to use if you cannot attend.

So the first part of your plan looks good. Hopefully the second part will not come true, with Cork hopefully beating Mayo :D
