Discontinued parts

Hope you don't mind me asking here since my car isn't a classic, but I'm sure many of you have experienced this.

My 1993 Lexus LS400 needs a new A/C hose, part number 88712-50060, which has been discontinued.

What can I do? Are there any breaker's yards where I might be able to get this part?

Surely in these days with Internet it should be relatively easy to find parts for old cars, but I don't know where to look. I mean, someone somewhere should have the part in stock, right? Does anyone have any good contacts?

Does anyone know about anyone able to repair parts like this, preferably in the greater Cork area?

    Thanks!

It wouldn't happen if it was an old merc, unbelieveable what parts are available for ancient mercs,

for second hand bits try traynors.co.uk they deliver to dublin every day . ring them though for better response than email.

Same for Ford's it seems. Got a load of parts for my Escort Mk3 in a Ford dealer no bother.
