Help our 6yr old to walk! [Fundraising appeal]

Hi, It was suggested by Mods and members in other areas that I should make a post in here about this too.

First off, it's not spam I'm not out for any personal gain with this, it's pretty much just to share a link to our fund raising appeal for our Daughter. She needs a massive operation in Oct of this year, which may very well help her to walk. Currently she is 6 years old and is still crawling when not using her K-Walker. She has Cerebral Palsy [The specific type she has is called Spastic Diplegia]

The operation she requires [Selective Dorsal Rhizotomy, more info here: SDR procedure ] cannot be done [more like will not be] over here, or in the UK. You have to travel to the US after being accepted [which she has] but you must also raise almost $70,000! This covers the surgery, pre and post physio, accommodation for the family for the month's stay in diggs near the hospital and flights.

Hi I saw you guys on TV3 yesterday and you were fantastic, I hope you raise the money needed to bring your little girl to america for the surgery. Keep us posted on how she is doing and if there is anything we can do to help

We've received some donations from board members already, thank you all who donated.

The tv interview went down well, we got many donations to the fund right after. Still a hell of a Big mountain to climb but we have no choice, we HAVE to raise over €50k.

I met with thecageyone last night and he told me some of the many things they are doing trying to raise this money. It really is a worthwhil cause everyone and I'm sure they would be very appreciative of anything anyone can do to help raise the money.
