Hi

I am considering swapping one of my existing SKY+ boxes for a sky+HD box without a HD sub (just to get the box.) I have multiroom.

Scenario A
If I get a Sky+HD box without the HD sub (149 euro for existing customer I understand) I believe that I will be able to recieve BBC HD, ITV HD and Channel 4 HD. Is that correct? Are there any other HD channels I could get without the sub?

If I have no HD sub, will I be able to record these channels with the SKY +HD box?

Scenario B
If I cancelled multiroom (keeping one of the existing sky+ box sub up) I would then have a SKY+HD box capable of FREESAT (including HD)? If I had a sky HD box with no SKY subscription for it would I still get the HD channels above but without the ability to record?

In either scenario, BBC HD and itv HD will need to be tuned into other channels and so you won't be able to record. Channel 4 HD is ftv as far as I know so you would need a British ftv card to receive it.

Will the red button work on BBC HD if it is ion other channels?
