Ok I have to reference my essay using the harvard one but for the life of me I can't get my head around it. So I'm just wondering can anyone help me out with it really don't understand how to reference a website.

If someone can like show me how to from this part of my essay it would help me loads:
If you were to read RTÉs 2008 annual report you would notice that its viewers were getting their money’s worth from their programming. The report states that out of the ten most watched programmes in Ireland, “nine of which were home produced”, appeared on a RTÉ station. Furthermore the, “ten most listened to Radio programmes in Ireland were home produced”.

This is the reference I used for that part: http://www.rte.ie/about/pdfs/annual_report_2008_eng.pdf

I will be really thankful if someone can help me with this.

Put that link in brackets after the quote/reference
In your bibliography put the link as well, and the date you accessed the site on. I'm in UCD and we use the Harvard system, that's all we have to do anyway

Is this how you do it?

Or am I still doing something wrong?

yeah, pretty much, you only need to reference it once though, at the end of all of the quoates/references! The bibliography is is the second time you reference it, and remebering to put in the date you accessed the site is really important as well, I've lost marks on essays in the past for forgetting to do that!!

Oh right so if i used a quote from the same reference I just put it at the end of the last quote from that book is it, I think I'm confusing myself more haha

Yeah you only need to put the reference once within the main body of the script, unless you quote it say, on page one, and again on page three. Then you would need to reference it each time. If you only quote it once, in one paragraph, then regardless of how many quotes you take from it you only need to reference it once at the end of the paragraph:)
    Hope it helps!
